CRANSTON, RI — The Bread Bakers Guild of America (BBGA) is gearing up for a packed schedule of events for the month of October.
In efforts to support the sustainability and prosperity of the craft baking industry through education, training and community building, the BBGA is hosting a series of virtual and in-person events throughout the rest of the month.
Here’s what’s coming up on BBGA’s schedule:
Enzyme 101 with Thierry Etienne of Lallemand Baking | Oct. 9
— Explore the ways enzymes support baking applications and how to successfully leverage them.
An Evening with Guittard, Central Milling and BBGA | Oct. 14
— Guittard chefs will showcase a range of chocolates suitable for any bakery.
Accessing Capital with Kobla Asamoah | Oct. 16
— Asamoah will talk through business plan challenges and navigating the topic of access to capital.
New Member Orientation | Oct. 21
— Meet the BBGA team and connect with other Guild members.
Quality Lamination for Quantity Production | Oct. 28
— Join Brian Wood from Starter Bakery as he highlights lamination techniques for bakery production.
Guildhall Gathering at Bianca | Oct. 28
— Join the Los Angeles community for a gathering of fellow bakers.
Chocolate 101 | Oct. 29
— Join chocolatier Josh Johnson for a guided tour of best practices in working with chocolate.
