AUSTIN, TX — Sprinkles debuted its first high-protein cupcake, offering an indulgent and nourishing treat for customers looking for more from their baked goods.
Dubbed the Citrus Power Up, the limited-edition protein cupcake boasts a better-for-you format with all-natural sweeteners such as raw honey, monk fruit and allulose. Each cupcake — topped with an orange cream cheese frosting — contains 8 grams of protein derived from grass-fed whey.
Sprinkles’ protein cupcake is available for local pickup and delivery through Feb. 2.
Last year, Sprinkles introduced Cupcake Cups inspired by the brand’s signature cupcakes to Target shelves nationwide.
