PARSIPPANY, NJ — Two recognizable bakery brands — Magnolia Bakery and Mother’s Cookies — are joining forces to create a specialty sweet for National Strawberry Month.
Throughout May, select Magnolia Bakery storefronts will debut a first-of-its-kind Banana Pudding Bar collab: Mother’s Cookies Strawberry Banana Pudding. The sweet treat features layers of the Mother’s Cookies’ new Sparkling Strawberry Mythical Creatures Cookies along with strawberry puree pudding and vanilla wafers.
“Strawberry is undeniably the flavor of summer, and its timelessness brings kids and adults alike to the table,” said Julia Witten, senior brand manager at Ferrero. “Magnolia Bakery has spent decades building one of the most devoted fan bases in dessert, turning its iconic banana pudding into a cultural phenomenon that has people lining up around blocks. Partnering that legendary status with Mother’s Cookies, as we enter an exciting new era of innovation, is the kind of collaboration that transforms a sweet treat moment into a memory worth savoring.”
The Mother’s Cookies Strawberry Banana Pudding is available at participating Magnolia Bakery shops in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles through May 24. To celebrate the start of National Strawberry Month on May 1, the first 100 in-store customers who purchase the dessert will receive a free pack of Mother’s Cookies. Customers can also acquire the treat through GrubHub, DoorDash and Uber Eats.
