MOONACHIE, NJ — Food insecurity remains a pressing issue in the US, especially with increased economic rifts due to tariffs and inflation.
Paris Baguette and No Kid Hungry — a national campaign run by Share Our Strength — are joining forces to provide children and families with access to nutritious foods. The partnership has resulted in more than $200,000 in funds, helping nearly 14 million children in America get critical food supplies.
“At Paris Baguette, we believe caring for our communities goes beyond the walls of our cafes,” said Cathy Chavenet, chief marketing officer at Paris Baguette North America. “Thanks to the incredible compassion and generosity of our guests, franchise owners and team members, we’re able to contribute and provide for families in need across the country.”
From Aug. 20-Sept. 30, Paris Baguette guests were encouraged to show their support by rounding up their total, an initiative of Paris Baguette’s Love Baked In program. A ceremonial check was presented Oct. 20 at the bakery cafe brand’s Ashburn, VA, location, which raised the most funds nationwide during the round-up campaign.
“Partnerships like this are essential to ending childhood hunger,” said Allison Shuffield, managing director of corporate partnerships at No Kid Hungry. “[Paris Baguette’s] incredible fundraising efforts will help ensure more kids have access to the healthy meals they need to learn, grow and thrive. We’re so thankful for their commitment to making a difference in the lives of kids across the country.”
