NEW YORK — Librae Bakery, the first-ever Bahraini-inspired bakery in the Big Apple, is lending its storefront to bring the fictional Hot Fellas Bakery from Max’s And Just Like That series to life for a limited time.
“When Max brought us the idea, it immediately resonated,” said Dona Murad, owner of Librae. “We love collaborations that challenge the norm, and this pop-up does just that. It’s a chance to welcome new faces into our space and be part of something creatively energizing.”
The retail bakery was selected for its inventive pastries and savory offerings and central Manhattan location.
The Hot Fellas Bakery Pop-Up will be held at Librae’s East Village storefront June 14-15. The event, free and open to the public while supplies last, will transform Librae’s storefront to mimic the Hot Fellas branding and offer customers an assortment of Librae’s signature offerings in single-serve portions. This includes butter croissants, chocolate croissants, vegan sourdough and flourless chocolate cookies.
In addition to the in-person event, the streaming service is also partnering with delivery services Grubhub and Seamless to offer limited-edition Hot Fellas Bakery Bundles, which include branded merch as well as butter croissants, lemon ginger biscuits and rosemary garlic sourdough.
This continues a trend of bakeries teaming up with media to bring a tangible experience to customers. Such partnerships include Insomnia Cookies’ Marvel-inspired cookies, Laduree’s Bridgerton-themed macaron collection and Crumbl’s whimsical Willy Wonka limited-time cookie.
