CHARLOTTE, NC — Signaling the start of the fall season, Krispy Kreme released its Golden Harvest collection of three brand-new donuts with a returning favorite.
“A slight chill in the morning air, a hint of color in the leaves, and just like that we’re ready for some delicious fall flavors,” said Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme. “Our Golden Harvest Collection is autumn bliss, so savor them while they last.”
The Golden Harvest collection includes four distinct donuts:
Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut: This new flavor is an Original Glazed Doughnut topped with a swirl of cream cheese buttercreme and sprinkled with salted caramel crunch with a dulce de leche-flavored filling.
Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut: A new variety of Krispy Kreme’s unglazed donut, this offering is filled with white kreme and dipped in cookie dough icing and streusel topping, with a dollop of white kreme and a bite-sized oatmeal cookie on top.
Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut: A returning bestseller, this is a cinnamon sugar donut loaded with spiced apple filling.
Maple Buttercreme Doughnut: This new offering takes an Original Glazed Doughnut and tops it with maple-flavored buttercreme and fall sprinkles.
The Golden Harvest collection is available for a limited time in stores. Krispy Kreme will also offer its Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut, an additional seasonal flavor that was added to its menu last month.
