CHARLOTTE, NC — While pumpkin spice is often tied to fall, Krispy Kreme is embracing the flavor ahead of the turn of the season.
“Pumpkin spice fans are counting down the days to their favorite season and we’re happy to kick it off by bringing back our Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed donut — earlier and for a longer period,” said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s chief brand and product officer.
Starting Aug. 11, the donut chain announced a limited-time, one-week return of its signature Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed donuts. This extends the run of this offering longer than the three days it was available last year.
While the classic yeast-raised version will only be around for a short time, customers can get their pumpkin fix for the remainder of the fall season with the Original Glazed Pumpkin Spice Cake Donut. The donuts will be available in-store and online for pick-up/delivery in single and dozen formats.
