JACKSON, MI — While the year has yet to hit the midway point, Dawn Foods, a global distributor and manufacturer of bakery ingredients, is preparing for the holidays early with the launch of its Majestic Gingerbread Cake Donut Mix.
The mix, which features a blend of spices including cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice, gives bakeries, donut shops and in-store bakery customers a way to shake up seasonal sales easily. The gingerbread mix can make it easier for bakers to create gingerbread donuts in a matter of minutes just by adding water. It’s also easily customizable with other Dawn products such as icings, glazes and holiday sprinkles.
“Dawn wants to make the hectic holiday time for bakers a little easier by offering a top consumer-trending flavor donut mix that adds a festive touch to their holiday menus,” said Allison Hornev, director of portfolio innovation at Dawn Foods.
In anticipation of the 2023 holiday season, Dawn encourages bakers interested in pre-booking the mix to connect with their respective US or Canada sales representatives before June 1. After that date, availability will be limited.
“By pre-booking orders for the mix, our customers can mark one more thing off their to-do lists and focus on other tasks that need their attention,” Hornev said. “Our Gingerbread donut mix is a simple solution that helps make the season a little less stressful.”
