JACKSON, MI — Dawn Foods announced the addition of Cherie Good as head of corporate giving.
“I’m thrilled to join a company with such a rich history of giving,” Good said. “I am excited to bring my philanthropy experience to Dawn and continue to support the company’s global outreach efforts.”
Good succeeds Sarah Richmond, who will retire from the global bakery manufacturer and ingredients distributor in August after more than 30 years of service.
“Working at Dawn and building a corporate giving program that has grown to impact communities around the world has been an incredible experience,” Richmond said. “I am honored to continue my service on the Dawn Board and to pursue my passion for service in retirement.”
In this role, Good will oversee the company’s Corporate Giving Program, manage the Team Member Relief Fund and support Dawn’s relationship with For Goodness Cakes.
“Community giving is deeply embedded in Dawn’s culture and something that is very important to our business and our team members,” said Jason Lioy, chief people officer of Dawn Foods. “Cherie’s extensive nonprofit experience and passion for fostering connections will help us continue to make a positive impact in communities around the world.”
