CRANSTON, RI — Registration for the Bread Bakers Guild of America’s (BBGA) Camp Bread is now open.
Camp Bread is a three-day event for bakers of all levels, from enthusiast to professional, that serves as an opportunity for skill development, education, networking and more.
Held March 5-7 in Providence, RI, Camp Bread offers an assortment of programming including demonstrations, hands-on workshops, seminars and lectures. Seminars and workshops center on the business aspects of baking, covering topics such as employee management and growth, marketing, and bakery design.
Attendees can participate in up to two hands-on classes, which cover a variety of subjects such as lamination, naturally leavened bread and more. The classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration for Camp Bread is limited to BBGA members and costs $900 for the three-day event. Additional tickets are available for a discounted price of $675.
Additionally, BBGA is offering a “Buy One, Give One” ticket option for $1575 to support bakers who may be interested in attending but unable to afford the experience. BOGO tickets contribute to the Camp Bread scholarship fund and $675 of the ticket price is tax-deductible.
