ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — In recognition of National Bakery Day, established by the Retail Bakers of America, Rademaker USA led a large-scale food drive that resulted in the donation of more than 1,600 pounds of food and hygiene products to the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank and the Elk Grove Village Food Pantry.
“National Bakery Day is about celebrating our industry and recognizing the communities that support us,” said Amy Estrada, brand manager at Rademaker USA.
The large-scale donation was made possible by Rademaker employees and matching contributions from fellow industry partners, including Revent, Coastline Equipment Inc., Sani-Matic, Eaglestone Equipment, FPS Food Process Solutions Corp., and HaF Equipment.
“This food drive reflects the spirit of passion and generosity that defines the baking industry,” Estrada said, “and we are deeply grateful to our vendor partners for standing with us to make a meaningful difference.”
By organizing the food drive, Rademaker continues its philanthropic commitment to supporting its community beyond baking.
