LOS ANGELES — Baked by Melissa, known for its handcrafted, bite-sized cupcakes, partnered with Mathnasium Learning Centers, a globally recognized franchise with more than 1,300 locations across 12 countries, to support teachers this back-to-school season.
From Aug. 17 to Sept. 18, Mathnasium and Baked by Melissa will celebrate educators through Teachers’ Lounge Takeovers, an exclusive co-branded cupcake line. The initiative features the “Teachers Who Count” sweepstakes, inviting students to recognize a teacher who has made a meaningful difference in their lives, with the winning teacher and nominating student each receiving free Baked by Melissa cupcakes for a year. The teacher will also receive classroom supplies, while the student will receive a three-month Mathnasium scholarship.
“As a mom, I see firsthand what a great teacher can do for a child’s confidence … they truly can change a life,” said Melissa Ben-Ishay, co-founder and CEO of Baked by Melissa. “Mathnasium understands that same power, which is why this partnership felt so natural. We built Baked by Melissa on celebrating life’s moments, big and small, and teachers showing up for kids every day is exactly the kind of moment worth celebrating.”
The Mathnasium Cupcake 25-Pack is available online for $39 and features Red Velvet, Triple Chocolate Fudge, and Red Sugar Cookie flavors, wrapped in a custom Mathnasium-branded sleeve. The brand is also offering a “Back to the Grind” Cupcake 25-Pack + Gift Box, which includes a custom Mathnasium insert featuring an interactive Sudoku-style math puzzle.
