LAS VEGAS — Is this the Krusty Krab? No, it’s Pinkbox Doughnuts!
Paying homage to the undersea cartoon, Pinkbox created a special-edition donut to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the popular Nickelodeon television show, Spongebob SquarePants.
The Krabby Patty Doughnut is modeled after the cartoon’s iconic burger of the same name. The raised glazed donut is cut in half and features sesame seeds on top, half of a chocolate cake ‘patty’ in the center, piped icing for cheese and lettuce and garnished with a red “ketchup” drizzle.
Pinkbox is a part of the exclusive group of specialty food shops and restaurants across the country participating in the anniversary program coordinated by Off the Menu in collaboration with Nickelodeon and Paramount.
The themed donut, available for a limited time at select Pinkbox locations, will be offered in a special Spongebob box.
Earlier this month, Pinkbox debuted the October donut of the month — a glazed cinnamon sugar donut filled with a Biscoff cookie butter whip.
