NEW YORK — Levain Bakery teamed up with Guinness to pair pints with the bakery brand’s signature cookies.
The collaboration includes a limited-edition holiday cookie tin featuring four Levain cookies — a Dark Chocolate Peppermint, Two Chip Chocolate Chip and a Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip — to pair with the beer brand’s Draught Stout.
“When Guinness invited us to team up on this indulgent pairing, we felt it was a unique and wonderful way to celebrate the holiday festivities,” said Lorna Sommerville, chief commercial officer for Levain Bakery. “We are excited to share our beloved cookies with Guinness fans to savor all season long.”
The collectible tins will be available at the Chicago and Baltimore Open Gate Brewery locations for a limited time as well as Guiness’ Most Wonderful Pop-Up locations.
Beers and bakeries are a more common pairing than some may expect. Last year, Blue Moon Brewing Co. teamed up with Tiny Pies in Austin, TX, to create single-serve Pie Pints and PopUp Bagels to craft a bagel featuring Blue Moon’s signature brew. Food flavors inspired by alcohol and cocktail flavors were also a key trend predicted for 2024.
