CHICAGO — Blue Moon Brewing Co. has teamed up with Tiny Pies, a bakery in Austin, TX, best known for its miniature pies, to create a limited-time product to complement the Colorado brewery’s signature Belgian White Belgian-Style Wheat Ale.
The single-serve Pie Pints are available in four flavors: Zesty Pumpkin Spice Pie, Tangy Citrus Apple Twist Pie, Key Lime Coconut Crumble Pie and Chocolate Citrus Haze Pie.
Customers are encouraged to pair their beer with one of the four mini pies as a seasonal swap for Blue Moon’s traditional Valencia orange garnish.
Blue Moon is also offering two Thanksgiving Seasonings that highlight the essence of its flagship beer. The Pie Pint Seasoning, which can be added to one of the Tiny Pies Pie Pints or into a customer’s own pie filling, features notes of orange citrus and coriander.
However, Pie Pints isn’t an entirely new concept to the brewing company. Blue Moon previously partnered with Baked by Melissa in 2022 to create three seasonal pies that paired with a different core family of beer. This included Spiced Citrus Pumpkin Pie, Tropic Sky Pie and Coconut Citrus Pie.
Customers can purchase the Blue Moon Pie Pints by Tiny Pies 4-pack on the brewery and bakery’s websites for $27.30 plus shipping, while supplies last. The Blue Moon Pie Pint Seasoning can be purchased in a set with its savory counterpart for $11.26 on Blue Moon Brewing Co.’s website, while supplies last.
