Learn how to launch an e-commerce cake store

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Retail Bakers of America (RBA) is hosting The Future of Custom Cakes, a virtual event, Wednesday, May 3 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Participants will gain insight into how selling custom cakes online can streamline profitability and production.

Mike Clements, owner of retail baking software solutions company BakeSmart, and his colleague, Shellie Slove, will lead the presentation.

Clements started his company in 2005 and works with retail bakers to improve their operations through automation and digitalization. Slove has been in the baking industry for over 35 years and comes from a family of bakers. She helped drive growth at her family’s bakery, transforming it into a successful multi-store enterprise by leveraging technology to optimize operations.
