CHARLOTTE, NC — Through a limited-edition partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, Krispy Kreme is unveiling three new superhero-inspired donuts.
“We can’t promise you’ll reach Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman level by bringing a dozen donuts to the office or your next get-together, but you will be a hero,” said Dave Skena, chief growth officer at Krispy Kreme.
The Hungry for Heroes collection includes:
Superman Doughnut: An unglazed shell donut filled with white Kreme, dipped in light blue icing, and topped with Superman buttercream-flavored clouds, decorated with an image of Superman and a sprinkle blend.
Batman Doughnut: An unglazed shell donut filled with cookies & Kreme, dipped in black chocolate icing and topped with a Bat emblem.
Wonder Woman Doughnut: An Original Glazed donut dipped in raspberry-flavored icing, topped with white stars and blue sprinkles and a Wonder Woman logo and belt.
Customers can purchase the collection of donuts at participating locations nationwide for a limited time. The donuts are available individually and in a custom dozen box depicting the three superheroes.
In 2023, Krispy Kreme teamed up with Warner Bros. to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie Elf.
