CHARLOTTE, NC — Cross-market collaborations are spurring innovation within the retail segment.
Krispy Kreme is jumping on this trend with a newly announced partnership with Crocs. The two brands developed limited-edition Krispy Kreme x Crocs Classic Clogs, blending the shoe staple with the bakery chain’s signature donut design.
In addition to the shoe, the collab includes oversized Jibbitz charms of the Original Glazed Doughnut and Krispy Kreme Hot Light and two interchangeable chocolate and strawberry icing with sprinkles top caps.
“It’s been so much fun working with Crocs to create what might be the sweetest Classic Clogs yet,” said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s chief brand and product officer. “Fans of both of our brands expect the unexpected, and this collab certainly is next level when it comes to that.”
Each pair of the limited-edition Crocs comes in a custom co-branded box designed similarly to Krispy Kreme’s classic dozens box. A five-pack of Jibbitz charms with two donuts, a dozens box, the Krispy Kreme logo and its signature paper hat will also be available.
Krispy Kreme x Crocs Classic Clogs will be available in adult sizes at Crocs stores, select channels and online until Aug. 5.
To celebrate the collaboration, Krispy Kreme is offering a Krispy Kreme x Crocs special dozen featuring the donuts that inspired the Clogs: Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles. The dozen will be available Aug. 4-10 while supplies last at participating Krispy Kreme shops and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website.
