CHARLOTTE, NC — Krispy Kreme is kicking off fall early with the release of its pumpkin spice-flavored collection.
“Year after year, we fall in love all over again with pumpkin spice-flavored treats, and this year pumpkin spice lovers will fall the hardest at Krispy Kreme,” said Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme.
The seasonal collection includes two new flavors, Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Swirl and Pumpkin Spice Maple Pecan. The returning flavors are the Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed and Pumpkin Spice Cake donuts.
An ever-popular fall flavor, pumpkin spice-inspired baked goods fall in line with the “newstalgia” trend, in which consumers seek new product experiences through familiar flavors. Krispy Kreme also teased its customers about the product earlier this year when it released its Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed for a two-day April Fools run.
The Pumpkin Spice Collection is available at participating US locations and on the Krispy Kreme app.
