BALTIMORE — Kneads Bakeshop has opened its latest location at The Village of Cross Key shopping center in Baltimore.
“The interior is a delightful fusion of modern and boho design with a touch of Greek heritage,” said Kira Paterakis, co-owner of Kneads. “The Cross Keys location offers cozy seating for 20, complemented by a spacious outdoor patio perfect for those who wish to enjoy their treats al fresco. The centerpiece of the bakery is the visually stunning and intimate six-top ‘jewel box’ coffee bar, which is visible from the street and entices passersby to step inside and enjoy a drink or a decadent treat.”
The 1,302-square-foot bakery offers an assortment of freshly baked pastries, breakfast and lunch items, and coffee and tea.
“Kneads offers a coffee shop experience unlike any other in our area,” said Arsh Mirmiran of Caves Valley Partners, the developers behind the renaissance of Cross Keys. “Blending a warm, welcoming atmosphere with artisanal bakery offerings, it’s the perfect place for visitors and locals alike to unwind, enjoy a meal or coffee, and take in the once again vibrant surroundings of Cross Keys.”
Plans for the new location were announced February 2024. This marks the second satellite shop for Kneads, joining the Canton store located at 3601 Boston St. in Baltimore.
