PORTLAND, ME — The Holy Donut, a from-scratch potato donut brand, and Long Pine Brewing Co. announced The Holy Donut Pop-Up Series, a summer-long collaboration located at the brewery’s Old Orchard Beach taproom.
The partnership will kick off with a special launch event on April 19. Starting May 2, customers can pair Holy Donut’s freshly made offerings with Long Pine’s craft beers and cocktails every Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon.
“Our longtime partnership with Lone Pine has always been something special,” said Jeff Buckwalter, CEO and co-owner of The Holy Donut. “Our brands, cultures and creative styles complement each other so well, and we’re thrilled to team up again. This latest collaboration brings together our signature Maine potato donuts and Lone Pine’s incredible craft beers to create a fun and flavorful breakfast experience at their Old Orchard beer garden. It’s a true celebration of Maine’s local food and beverage scene, and we can’t wait for our communities to enjoy it.”
This arrangement follows a series of partnerships between the brewery and bakery brand. Previously, Lone Pine made several beers inspired by the donuts and in 2023, The Holy Donut released a seasonal Lone Pine Pumpkin donut variety.
“Lone Pine Brewery has always been about bringing people together over great beer, and we’re excited to partner with The Holy Donut to create an unforgettable breakfast experience at our Old Orchard Beach location,” said Tom Madden, co-founder of Lone Pine Brewery. “We’ve built a strong relationship with The Holy Donut over the years with collaborations, and now, we’re thrilled to expand on that experience by welcoming them into our tasting room and beer garden.”
This pairing is among the latest of bakeries teaming up with breweries and alcohol brands to create unique customer experiences. Previously, Levain Bakery collaborated with Guinness on a holiday cookie tin and Tiny Pies created beer-pairable pies in partnership with Blue Moon.
