LINDON, UT — Ernst & Young (EY) named Jason McGowan, co-founder and CEO of Crumbl, one of 11 Entrepreneur of the Year Award national winners.

“Business leaders everywhere are navigating a slew of macro-economic and geopolitical challenges,” said Andrew Jordan, EY Americas Entrepreneur Of The Year director. “Still, this year’s National Award winners led their companies to new heights, showcasing indomitable spirits and commitments to their people and communities. They embody the best of entrepreneurship and the ingenuity so necessary to drive markets and help societies the world over.”

The winners for this award were selected by a panel of independent judges comprised of entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the US based on how they have built long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact.

“I am deeply humbled and honored to be among so many talented and extraordinary individuals,” McGowan said via LinkedIn. “A particularly meaningful moment occurred while I was accepting my award: Wayne Brady shared how Crumbl helped bring him and his daughter together after a disagreement. At Crumbl, our purpose is to ‘create meaningful moments with those who matter most.’ Ultimately, the most rewarding aspect for me isn’t the fame, accolades, or even the financial success I’ve achieved, but rather realizing and embodying our purpose. The secret to our success lies in the millions of meaningful moments we facilitate across the nation. It’s about bringing friends and families together over a box of the world’s best cookies. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your date nights, moments of healing, forgiveness, and celebration.”

McGowan was recognized for building Crumbl into one of the largest growing franchise operations in the country, the brand nearly doubled its number of stores last year and now boasts over 750 locations in the US and Canada.
