KISSIMMEE, FL — The American Pie Council (APC) announced the results and winners of the 26th Annual APC National Pie Championships, held May 1-2 in Kissimmee, FL.
Featuring 365 pies, entries included hand-held, no-sugar-added and gourmet treats in more than 30 sweet and savory flavor categories.
The independent baker with the highest number of blue ribbons awarded was Michele’s Pies from Norwalk, CT, with eight blue ribbons. Its submissions included Peanut Butter Fantasy, Berry Mascarpone, Turtle Pumpkin and Strawberry Shortcake pies.
