WASHINGTON DC — Retail bakers and suppliers are joining together with their wholesale counterparts for the first time at the Bakers Fly-In and Policy Summit, to be held November 13-15 on Capitol Hill.

Retail Bakers of America (RBA) is teaming up with American Bakers Association (ABA) and American Society of Baking (ASB) for this inaugural event, which will connect bakers and suppliers of all sizes and product types from across the US.

Unsure of how to get involved? Here are four ways bakers can participate in this event.

Bakers Fly-In and Policy Summit

Complimentary to all attendees, this registration includes in-person visits with members of Congress, panel sessions covering industry topics and unique networking opportunities for industry members.

Bakers Fly-In plus Food Safety and Nutrition Policy Conference

This conference is built for attendees who work in food safety, nutrition, Q&A or ingredients. In addition to the Fly-In events, the conference includes specialized sessions focused on food safety and nutrition.

Bakers Fly-In plus ABA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Working Group Conference

Attendees involved in human resources and DEI are encouraged to attend this conference. This includes sessions and group discussions centered on industry issues related to DEI.

Virtual Food Safety and Nutrition Policy Conference only

For bakers and suppliers who can’t attend the Fly-In in person, this conference and its sessions are also available in a virtual format.

All attendees are extended ABA member pricing, regardless of if they are ABA members or not, and are encouraged to participate in both conferences. To view the full schedule of events and to register, visit the Bakers Fly-In and Policy Summit registration page for more information.
