BUFFALO, NY — Rich Products announced a new partnership with Funfetti to create the first and only in-store bakery (ISB) Funfetti products. The lineup includes Rich’s Funfetti Celebration Cake, Funfetti Cheesecake, Funfetti Cheesecake Single Slice and Funfetti Bettercreme icing.

“This partnership combines the iconic Funfetti brand with Rich’s strong ISB category leadership,” said Alvino Battistoni, VP, ISB&D direct chains for Rich Products. “Both Rich’s and the Funfetti brand have a long history of delivering innovative products and inspiring celebratory moments, so this collaboration is a natural fit. We’re excited to expand our portfolio, providing ISB operators with a fun lineup of offerings that we know consumers will love.”

The Rich’s Funfetti Celebration Cake is a quarter-sheet white cake decorated with colorful candy bits and topped with buttercream icing and sprinkles. The product has a shelf life of 365 days when frozen and five days when refrigerated.

Rich’s Funfetti Cheesecakes are available as 3.25-ounce slices or as a 6-inch, 24-ounce whole cake. The cheesecakes also have a shelf life of 365 days frozen and five days refrigerated.

The Rich’s Funfetti Bettercreme puts a new spin on the food producer’s signature whipped icing. This icing features a vanilla flavor, Funfetti sprinkles and a creamy taste. Its shelf life is 540 days frozen and seven days refrigerated.

“Funfetti has been delivering baking products to help families transform any day into a celebration for 30 years,” said Dan Anglemyer, COO of Hometown Food Co., parent company of Funfetti. “As a company dedicated to inspiring possibilities, Rich’s offers a broad portfolio of creative solutions and strong industry leadership that’s a great match with the Funfetti brand.
