WESTLAKE, OH — Retail bakers curious about what it takes to become a certified master baker (CMB) can gain valuable insight on the CMB certification process during an upcoming webinar held by the Retail Bakers of America (RBA).
“Becoming a Certified Master Baker” will be held on Sept. 12 from 4 – 5 p.m. ET and will feature a panel of CMBs: Lee Ann Adams, manager of baker development at Sheetz Inc. and a featured baker in Craft to Crumb’s CMB Study Hall series; Kristin Egan, founder of Egan Sweets; Aileen Semenetz, senior manager of artisan bread R&D at Tribeca Oven; and Derek Corsino, a pastry chef and educator.
The webinar will review four key topics: an overview of the certification, benefits and steps involved; ways to prepare for the exam such as study resources, strategies and key subjects; benefits from the CMB certification including professional growth, career advancement and supporting a baker’s business; and tips from panelists.
