RBA and Lesaffre partner on yeast education session

WESTLAKE, OH — The Retail Bakers of America (RBA) is increasing its educational opportunities for bakers with an upcoming session centered on yeast.

RBA and Lesaffre will present “Yeast 101” on Sept. 24 at 1:30 p.m. ET. The hour-long virtual event, led by Ralf Tschenscher, baking business development manager for Lesaffre, will cover the fundamentals of fermentation and different yeast solutions available for bread making.

Ralf will take bakers through the history, processing, applications and types/market forms of yeast, as well as host a Q&A at the close of the session to address attendee questions.

Registration costs are as follows:

  • RBA members: $10
  • RBA student members: $0
  • Non-members: $15
