ST. LOUIS — Bakery cafe brand Panera Bread announced two new marketing and culinary leadership appointments, naming Robin Seward senior VP of brand and integrated marketing, and Scott Uehlein VP of culinary. They will report to chief marketing officer Mark Shambura.
“I am excited to welcome Robin and Scott to an already stellar group of marketing leaders at Panera,” Shambura said. “They will be instrumental as we focus on innovating this year through our marketing strategy and our menu offerings. I’m thrilled for them to join our team and look forward to what’s coming next.”
Seward, who previously served as senior VP of marketing for Subway, is joining Panera with extensive industry experience. In her new role, she will oversee all strategic marketing planning, including consumer insights, product strategy and category growth.
Uehlein brings over three decades of restaurant industry experience to the role, previously serving as VP of culinary at Papa Johns, MOD Pizza and Sonic. He will oversee the Panera culinary team and lead all menu development and innovation.
