WEST LAKE, OH — The Retail Bakers of America (RBA) is welcoming Anthony DiNardo, owner of Henri’s Bakery & Deli and Galla’s Pizza, to its helm as the new board president. He succeeds Amie Smith, owner of AMIE Bakery.

“I am incredibly honored to serve as president of the Retail Bakers of America,” Anthony said. “Baking has always been about more than just the products we create — it’s about preserving traditions, supporting communities and helping independent bakeries thrive for future generations.”

As board president, he will work alongside the RBA board of directors and staff to advance the association’s mission of connecting, educating and supporting the retail baking community.

“Anthony’s leadership style is incredibly forward-thinking,” said Marissa Sertich, RBA’s executive director. “He’s passionate about innovation, growth and using technology in meaningful ways to help bakeries operate smarter and stay competitive, while never losing sight of the traditions that make this industry so special. I’m excited for what’s ahead with Anthony stepping into the role of RBA board president.”

Anthony brings experience in growing and evolving businesses with intention, helping make independent businesses thrive. Since acquiring Henri’s Bakery in 2016, he has helped expand the business while maintaining focus on quality, community and long-term success.

“Henri’s Bakery & Deli has been part of Atlanta’s story for nearly a century, and I look forward to working alongside bakers across the country to strengthen our industry, share ideas and ensure that family-owned bakeries have a bright future,” Anthony said.
