WASHINGTON, DC — As part of a 3-year strategic plan, Dog Tag Bakery announced the appointment of Henry V. Stoever IV as its new CEO. He succeeds Meghan Ogilvie, who announced her transition from the role last fall after 13 years with the non-profit organization.

The Marine Corps veteran brings decades of experience supporting mission-driven and private sector organizations to the role, with work at organizations including the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

“The board of directors is thrilled to welcome Henry to the Dog Tag community, and we are thrilled he will lead us to and through our next exciting chapter,” said Rick Fondriest, chair of the Dog Tag board of directors.

Under Stoever’s leadership, the organization will bolster its support of veterans with service-connected disabilities, military spouses and caregivers through its Fellowship program, now consolidated to Washington, DC.

“Henry’s vast and varied experience, his success in both the private and nonprofit sectors, and his commitment to the military equip him for success in this role,” Fondriest said.

Through this program, participants gain business know-how through the lens of a retail bakery. Alumni such as Erinn Roth are then equipped to take on their own entrepreneurial ventures.
