IBIE World Bread Awards 2025 seeking competitors

LAS VEGAS — The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) is calling on bakers worldwide to enter the IBIE World Bread Awards USA, to be held Sept. 15-16 during the Expo.

The competition, powered by The Bread Bakers Guild of America and Retail Bakers of America, will give bakers the opportunity to showcase the art and skill behind their bread-making.

A panel of industry experts will judge the entries, and one baker will win the grand prize of $1,000 in addition to gaining industry recognition.

There are 13 competition categories in this year’s World Bread Awards:

  • Sourdough
  • Ciabatta
  • Gluten-Free
  • Baguette
  • Bagel
  • Showstopper Specialty | Sweet
  • Showstopper Specialty | Savory
  • Challah
  • Whole Wheat/Whole Meal
  • Pretzel
  • Burger Bun
  • Flatbread
  • Student Baker

Contestants must register for IBIE 2025 and complete the World Bread Awards USA entry form and submit the fee by Sept. 1.
