WASHINGTON, DC — Beginning in January, the cohort is a hybrid, five-month program designed to foster continuous growth and wellness through professional development and connection. It will offer veterans with service-connected disabilities, military spouses and caregivers the opportunity to find renewed purpose and create community through an entrepreneurship-focused program.

Through the Fellowship, participants will earn a customized Certificate of Business Administration from Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies and learn about business operations through the lens of a bakery.

“I’m grateful for how the Dog Tag Fellowship has sharpened my entrepreneurial mindset and helped me grow in areas like strategy, leadership and innovation,” said Nitasha Wiegman, DC Cohort 20 alumna. “The challenges of the program have pushed me to think creatively and execute with precision, preparing me to bring my first-to-market business concept to life.”

Those interested in Dog Tag’s program can take advantage of three informational sessions to learn more before the Sept. 26 application deadline:

Dog Tag Information Webinar | Aug. 5

Dog Tag Alumni Q&A Webinar | Aug. 20

Dog Tag Open House | Sept. 16 (in-person and virtual)
