WASHINGTON, DC — Dog Tag Bakery has announced the opening of applications for the Summer 2025 cohort of its Fellowship Program.
The retail bakery’s five-month hybrid program offers veterans, military spouses and caregivers the opportunity to learn about owning a business through the model of a bakery. Held twice a year in DC and Chicago, fellows receive a business certificate from a top university; learn how to develop a business plan; experience hands-on learning in the bakery space; participate in activities focused on their overall wellness; and engage with business leaders and subject-matter experts.
Ahead of the March 28 deadline, those interested in the program can gain additional insight through the following resources:
- Feb.18 | Alumni Q&A webinar
- Feb. 28 | Alumni ambassador coffee chat
- March 18 | Dog Tag open house
This program cycle, the DC cohort will have in-person meetings twice per week every other week while the Chicago program will remain hybrid with three in-person events lasting one week each.
