HOBOKEN, NJ — Buddy Valastro, owner of Carlo’s Bake Shop, announced a partnership with Walmart to bring the bakery’s specialty cakes and cake slices to retailers nationwide.
“I’m so excited to bring my new signature cakes to cake lovers from coast to coast,” Valastro said. “I always hear how much people love my cake and want to grab a quick slice for dessert or a cake for a special event. By partnering with Walmart, Carlo’s Bake Shop cakes are available close to home and perfect for every occasion.”
The classic slices are available in four flavors: Vanilla Rainbow, Chocolate Fudge, Red Velvet and Carrot Cake.
Every Buddy’s Cakes line is a year in the making and mashes together three desserts into one baked good. Varieties include:
- Every Buddy’s Birthday Cake: The three-layer cake includes buttercream, a layer of New York cheesecake, vanilla confetti cake and a blondie layer with toffee filling.
- Every Buddy’s Chocolate Cake: The chocolate variant stars with a base layer of chocolate pecan pie, followed by a moist chocolate sponge cake and a New York-style cheesecake, united by salted caramel buttercream frosting.
- Every Buddy’s Fall Cake: The autumnal seasonal option features a spiced maple buttercream top, pumpkin cheesecake and an apple crumb pie atop the bottom pecan pie layer.
- Every Buddy’s Winter Cake: The winter offering, which drops in retailers on Nov. 24, includes a hot cocoa pie base with layers of classic New York cheesecake and blue velvet sponge cake with a vanilla buttercream top.
