TINLEY PARK, IL — Retail Bakers of America (RBA) is hosting three different education opportunities, ranging from donut production to cookie decorating.

Product Troubleshooting: Donuts with Dawn

Jan. 30 | 12 – 1 p.m. CST | Virtual

This virtual session, sponsored by Dawn Foods, offers bakers a chance to learn from Randy McArthur, technical expert at Dawn and former RBA president. The event focuses on donut production, how bakers can work through challenges and best practices for donut-making. The event is $10 for RBA members and $15 for non-members.

Valentine Cookie Decorating with Lisa King

Feb. 1 | 12 – 1 p.m. CST | Virtual

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Lisa King, an award-winning sugar artist and owner of Cake Frolic, is lending her expertise in this virtual session. Attendees can learn about top cookie decorating trends this season and discover decorating techniques. Advanced registration is required for this digital event. Registration is $10 for RBA members, free for RBA student members and $15 for non-members.

Innovative Breakfast Techniques Workshop

Feb. 5 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. CST | Eurogerm KB Innovation Center

RBA is teaming up with Eurogerm KB once again for a hands-on workshop at the bakery solutions manufacturer’s Innovation Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. Chef Nicolas Nayener will provide tutorials, recipes and processes for the following products: Sourdough Churro, Brioche Donuts, Savory Muffins, Flat Muffins, Quarkballchen and Brownie Cake Donuts. Professional level skill is required. Registration costs $50 for RBA members and $75 for non-members.
