NEW YORK — Milk Bar, a bakery brand created by Chef Christina Tosi, is no stranger to cross-market collaborations, but its latest combines breakfast and dessert in an outside-of-the-box mashup.
“I’ve been obsessed with English muffins for as long as I can remember, from enjoying them for breakfast as a kid to baking daily batches early in my career … for family meal, always chasing the nostalgic nooks and crannies of Thomas’ English Muffins as my north star,” Christina said. “At Milk Bar, we love taking those familiar flavors and turning them into something you haven’t seen before but instantly crave.”
The limited-edition Crannies & Cream Combo features a specially crafted, butter-flavored soft serve paired with a toasted Thomas’ English muffin.
“Transforming that buttery English muffin moment into soft serve and pairing it with a warm Thomas’ muffin felt like the perfect way to do just that,” she continued.
The savory-sweet offering is available at three of Milk Bar’s brick-and-mortar locations — its flagship store in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, DC — and through on-demand delivery through June 15.
