Submissions now open for IDDBA’s 2025 Cake’d Challenge

MADISON, WI — The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) opened submissions for its third annual Cake’d Challenge.

After a successful second iteration in June 2024, the challenge is returning to IDDBA 2025 in New Orleans, set for June 1-3.

Retail cake decorators are invited to enter the competition by submitting their portfolios, which should include one photo from each of the following categories:

  • Cupcake Arrangement (minimum of six cupcakes)
  • Small Cake (single or double layer, less than 8 inches in diameter)
  • Large Cake (single or double layer, more than 8 inches in diameter)
  • 3-Tier Cake (base layer at least 12 inches in diameter)
  • Full Sheet Cake

Finalists will be selected by a panel of experts and flown to New Orleans from May 31-June 3 to compete for the title of Cake’d Grand Champion in the live showdown at IDDBA 2025.

The submission deadline is Feb. 14.
