DALLAS — Dessert bakery chain Sprinkles has teamed up with Avocados From Mexico on a limited-edition cupcake made from Mexican avocados to celebrate National Avocado Day.
“Sprinkles Cupcakes has always taken an innovative approach to classic desserts, and this new collaboration with Avocados From Mexico is no exception,” said Michelle Wong, CMO of Sprinkles. “Avocados From Mexico was an obvious choice for their quality and taste, and we can’t wait for our guests to discover our latest cupcake, starring this beloved fruit.”
The Avocados From Mexico Chocolate Dulce De Leche cupcake includes a banana cupcake with pecan pieces, a dulce de leche filling and a cream cheese and chocolate frosting made from avocados.
“The new Avocados From Mexico Chocolate Dulce De Leche cupcake features the highest quality and best-tasting ingredients,” said Charles Craig, VP, culinary of Sprinkles. “By blending fresh avocado and smooth cream cheese alongside the banana and dulce de leche cupcake, we were able to elevate all the ingredients resulting in a cupcake that is out-of-this-world.”
The limited-edition cupcake is available at Sprinkles locations nationwide through Aug. 6.
