MOONACHIE, NJ — Renowned global bakery cafe Paris Baguette announced the opening of its 200th location in North America. The significant milestone marks the bakery cafe brand’s dedication to expansion and commitment to bringing high-quality, freshly baked treats to communities across the US and Canada.
“Opening our 200th North American cafe is an exciting moment for Paris Baguette,” said Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette. “This continued growth reflects our dedication to offering an authentic bakery cafe experience and spreading joy to our guests each and every day. We’re proud to be re-establishing the neighborhood bakery as the heart of the community, and this milestone sets the stage for even further growth in the coming years.”
The 200th store opened in Glen Ellyn, IL, in early December. Since the first cafe made its debut in the US in 2005, Paris Baguette has experienced steady growth across the country. The expansion into Canada in 2023 further solidified the strength of the business model, and strong community responses supported the successful openings of more locations.
A major component of the bakery cafe brand’s success is the customers’ affinity for a French-inspired cafe offering breads and fresh-baked pastries. Paris Baguette’s commitment to using the highest quality ingredients shines throughout each treat in its bakery cases.
Paris Baguette continues to prove its strength in the market, with a growing loyalty base of close to 750,000 members, a more than 36% increase since the program was recently relaunched mid-July.
For entrepreneurs looking to join the bakery cafe industry, Paris Baguette is eyeing continued expansion across North America, including 34 cafe locations in development in Texas, 33 in development in New Jersey, 16 in development in Georgia, and 14 in development in Ontario.
The company is also poised to break into markets in Connecticut, Delaware, Guam, Puerto Rico, Missouri and Oklahoma in the upcoming years. Looking toward 2025 and beyond, Paris Baguette will continue to pursue the 1,000-cafe milestone across the US and Canada.
