LINDON, UT — Renowned cookie chain Crumbl is searching for new leaders following an announcement from its founders, who will be stepping away from day-to-day operations at the company.
As part of a planned transition, Jason McGowan, co-founder and CEO, Sawyer Hemsley, co-founder and chief brand officer, and Bryce Redd, chief technology officer, are stepping down from their roles.
“This is not a goodbye to Crumbl,” McGowan said via LinkedIn. “We will all remain closely involved as members of the board and founders … We are still deeply invested in this company, in our franchise partners, and in where Crumbl goes from here.”
This transition aims to open the company’s next chapter of growth, giving it an opportunity to focus on scale, sharpen the experience for customers and franchise partners, and push product innovation forward with intention and creativity.
McGowan will continue as chair of the board, offering his years of expertise and intimate knowledge of the brand.
“I believe now is the right time to bring in new leadership through an open search process,” McGowan said. “Getting the right people in place matters a lot, and I believe an open process will allow us to find the very best leadership to support Crumbl’s future success and stay involved to support a smooth transition.”
