NEW YORK CITY — Magnolia Bakery, the New York-based bakery chain known for its array of baked goods and banana pudding, is making its first foray into the world of consumer-packaged goods with the launch of its Banana Pudding Cookies. The cookies were inspired by Magnolia’s signature banana pudding.
“Magnolia Bakery’s World-Famous Banana Pudding is one of the most recognized and iconic desserts in the U.S., known for the delicious combination of real bananas, creamy vanilla pudding and vanilla wafers,” said Bobbie Lloyd, CEO of Magnolia Bakery. “I knew translating these famous flavors into our new soft-baked cookie for grocery — made with real butter, bananas and chocolate — would result in an innovative new product for shoppers nationwide to try while being instantly recognizable as uniquely from Magnolia Bakery.”
Crafted with a real butter, bananas, crunchy vanilla wafers and chocolate, the soft-baked cookies are available in three flavors: Classic Vanilla with White Chocolate Chips, Chocolate Chunk and Confetti with White Chocolate Chips.
Consumers can find the Banana Pudding Cookies on grocery store shelves. The 2 oz. cookies are individually wrapped and come in a 4-pack at an SRP of $7.99.
