Magnolia Bakery, Stan’s Donuts partner on apple cider-inspired products



CHICAGO — Up in the Windy City, Stan’s Donuts & Coffee and Magnolia Bakery have teamed up for two fall-inspired collaborations.

Across Stan’s 16 locations in the Chicago area, customers can purchase the Apple Cider Pudding Le Stan for a limited time. The traditional Le Stan croissant donut is filled with a pastry cream inspired by Magnolia’s Apple Cider Pudding, tossed in cinnamon sugar coating and topped with a pastry cream drizzle.

“Our Stan’s fans absolutely loved our collaboration donut with Magnolia last year and we knew that we wanted to take the partnership up a notch this time around,” said Rich Labriola, founder of Stan’s. “We thought what better way than to combine our most popular donut, the Le Stan, with our favorite time of year to create the ultimate fall treat. Since the first tasting of Magnolia’s apple cider pudding, we knew it was the perfect fit.”

At Magnolia Bakery’s Chicago location, Apple Cider Donut Pudding will be available to customers for a limited time. This product blends Magnolia’s apple cider pudding with Stan’s apple cider donuts.

The brands first collaborated in summer 2022 when Stan’s created a limited-time Banana Pudding Bismark, inspired by Magnolia’s flagship product. The positive response from customers over the first collaboration inspired this year’s new products, which took advantage of seasonal flavors.

“We were so excited to team back up with our friends at Stan’s on another offering for our Chicago fans,” said Sara Gramling, VP of PR and partnerships at Magnolia. “This year, we wanted to bring a creation of our own into the mix for this second-time partnership. And so, the Apple Cider Donut Pudding was born, which pays homage to our most famous offering and a Stan’s classic. We’re hopeful that Chicagoland will enjoy this seasonal treat as much as we do.”

The limited-edition products will be available until Oct. 30.
