NEW YORK CITY — Magnolia Bakery may be best known for its baked goods, but the bakery brand is stepping out in style this spring.
“We’re so excited to give fans of both brands an all-new way to celebrate their love of Magnolia Bakery with Keds classic silhouettes,” said Sara Gramling, VP of PR and partnerships at Magnolia Bakery. “The Magnolia Bakery brand is layered with so many flavors and joyful colorways, and we’ve made a real effort in recent years to find creative ways to share those experiences with our fans from coast to coast. The Keds x Magnolia Bakery collection is another great way to celebrate the magic of our brand, and we can’t wait to see these sweet styles out and about this season.”
The limited-time collaboration with Keds features three sneaker styles that each nod to motifs from the bakery’s most popular offerings — the Confetti Cupcake and “Carrie cupcake” — as well as its signature mint branding.
“We are very excited to collaborate with Magnolia Bakery for the first time,” said Nicole Underwood, director of collaborations for Keds. “Optimism, joy and creativity are central to both brands and it was a fun exercise for the teams to merge these two worlds together and blend icons like Magnolia Bakery’s signature ‘Carrie cupcake’ and confetti sprinkles with Keds favorites like the Keds Champion and Triple Decker.”
The Keds x Magnolia bakery collaboration costs $80 per style and will be available on the Keds website and in select retailers beginning March 21.
