NEW YORK CITY — In celebration of National Banana Pudding Day on Aug. 31, Magnolia Bakery and Ess-a-Bagel have partnered on a unique bagel sandwich.
The limited-time collaboration features a new cream cheese inspired by Magnolia’s Banana Pudding and a banana-colored plain bagel rolled in Nilla wafers.
“Bagels and banana pudding — is there anything more New York than that?” said Sara Gramling, VP of PR and partnerships at Magnolia Bakery. “We’re thrilled to join forces with Ess-a-Bagel to celebrate the best of our shared hometown of NYC. Our friends at Ess-a-Bagel created a one-of-a-kind Banana Pudding Bagel as an ode to our fan-favorite dessert — each bite is indulgent and addicting.”
The Banana Pudding Bagel is available Aug. 17-Sept. 15 on Ess-a-Bagel’s Goldbelly and at the bagel company’s locations in Gramercy at 1st Avenue and 19th Street and Midtown at 32nd Street and 6th Avenue. The sandwich is priced at $7.25 and a ¼ lb. of Banana Pudding Cream Cheese is $5.35.
