CHARLOTTE, NC — Krispy Kreme is commemorating the Hunter’s Supermoon, the biggest supermoon of the year, with the creation of an exclusive one-day-only offering.
The Supermoon Super Doughnut is an unglazed donut stuffed with Cookies and Kreme filling, dipped in yellow icing and topped with chocolate cookie pieces.
“This October’s Supermoon is the biggest all year,” said Dave Skena, global brand officer for Krispy Kreme. “So, get outside Thursday night and make the view even sweeter by enjoying and sharing our Supermoon Super Doughnuts.”
On Oct. 17, customers can purchase the donut individually and as a Supermoon Super Doughnut specialty dozen, which includes six Supermoon Super Doughnuts and six Original Glazed Doughnuts, for pickup or delivery.
Earlier this month, Krispy Kreme released a limited-edition Ghostbusters donut collection to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic movie.
