OVERLAND PARK, KS — Whole Foods Market has welcomed retail bakeries from the Kansas City metro area into its new store location in Overland Park, KS.
The 45,791-square-foot store features over 750 local items from the Kansas area, including several bakery offerings.
In addition to Whole Foods’ in-house offerings such as made-in-house bread, Berry Chantilly Cake and brown butter cookies, the retail store carries products from Kansas City-area bakeries including Emily Kate’s Bakery and Farm to Market Bread Co.
Emily Kate’s offerings include gluten-free items such as cakes, cupcakes, cookies and breakfast items. Farm to Market delivers fresh-baked artisan hearth bread daily to the new location.

Customers can also find James Beard Award-winner Yoli Tortilleria’s tortilla chips and tortillas in the curated grocery section among other local products.
All products sold at Whole Foods must meet the company’s Quality Standards, which prohibit the use of hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup and more than 230 flavors, colors, sweeteners and other ingredients in foods.
