NEW YORK — The James Beard Foundation named its semifinalists for the 2024 Restaurant and Chef Awards. This marks the second year for the Outstanding Bakery category, which was first added last year. Yoli Tortilleria in Kansas City, MO, was the inaugural winner of the award.
The Outstanding Bakery category includes 20 semifinalists, with three bakeries making the shortlist again from last year: Breadshop in Honolulu; La Casita Bakeshop in Richardson, TX; and Zak the Baker in Miami.
