LARAMIE, WY — Insomnia Cookies opened its first store in Wyoming on July 28.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our first-ever bakery location in the state of Wyoming,” said Tom Carusona, chief marketing officer at Insomnia Cookies. “Located just south of the University of Wyoming’s campus, in Laramie, the bakery will deliver to more than 9,000 undergraduate students and other communities in surrounding neighborhoods.”
The Wyoming location held an all-day grand opening event, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance, giveaways, a prize wheel and more.
“We were inspired to open this location to satisfy the cravings of local Insomniacs all day and late into the night, bringing a warm and indulgent offering to the vibrant local restaurant scene,” Carusona continued.
The Laramie, WY, store is the 246th Insomnia Cookies location nationwide and continues the company’s 2023 expansion plan, which includes its first locations in the UK and Canada.
“We plan to continue our rapid nationwide expansion, working toward an overall goal of delivering warm, delicious cookies to 95% of U.S. households in the coming years,” he said. “This year’s national and international new store openings are just a taste of what’s to come for Insomnia Cookies.”
