LAS VEGAS — The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) announced the competitors of the 2025 Creative Decorating Competition, powered by Pillsbury. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the prestigious event, where creativity and skill take center stage at the Expo.
Six teams of cake decorating professionals will go head-to-head in four categories: wedding cake, rolled fondant, buttercream and sculpted cake. The two-day competition will be held in the Baking Expo’s Retail Bakers Center, located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, providing attendees with a front-row view of the action and live commentary.
The highest-scoring team, as determined by a panel of celebrity and master baker judges, will receive the Pillsbury Bakers’ Plus Grand Champion Trophy, which will be presented at an awards ceremony on Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. Gold, silver and bronze medals — and cash prizes — will be awarded to the teams with the highest score in each category.
