NEW YORK — H&H Bagels, a New York brand known for its bagels and other offerings since 1972, is taking its offerings nationwide with agreements for 25 new company-owned and franchised locations.
The brand, which currently operates five locations in New York City, is venturing out of the state to Florida, California, Washington DC, Virginia, Illinois and Connecticut.
H&H’s national franchise program reflects the company’s overall growth, also seen through the increase in its nationwide shipping and global wholesale business.

Boca Raton, FL, will house the first H&H franchise location and is set to open in the third quarter of 2023. The first two company-owned locations outside of the Big Apple will be in West Palm Beach, FL, and in Chicago. H&H is also opening a company-owned location at Penn Station in New York City at the end of this year.
The following locations are currently being developed:
- Los Angeles (Five-unit franchise development agreement)
- Tampa, FL (Five-unit franchise development agreement)
- Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Virginia (10-unit franchise development agreement)
- Boca Raton, FL (franchise)
- West Palm Beach, FL (company-owned)
- Stamford, CT (franchise)
- Chicago (company-owned)
- Penn Station, New York City (company-owned)
The company is working on additional franchised and company-owned locations, more information will be announced later this year.
H&H is also opening a 20,000-sq.-ft. bakery in Queens to support the new locations using the company’s original recipe and artisanal water bagel method.
